Dear Santa.....

So I had a great Christmas, but I must share with you the best part of all...Christmas Eve and the reason my niece Amy is going to need therapy by age 6..

Scene: It's a lovely Christmas Eve night at my sister Jen's house. My brother Jared and Wife Lindsey as well as The Brenton and I have finished having a wonderful Christmas story read to us by Wesley
The kids got to open their new Christmas PJ's and so they rushed off down the hall to go put them on so we could see how amazing they looked in them.

I am not sure how many kids made it back to the living room to show us, but we did notice that both Dad and Amy were missing. And here follows the rest of the story:

Dad: (Mad tone) Amy, you better straighten up or Santa won't come

At this point I am thinking that she was asked to do something, and in true Amy
stubbornness decides that she doesn't want to..so again

Dad: (A little louder Mad Tone) You better act up right or I am going to tell Santa not to leave you anything

Amy: (Breaks into the slow but loud cry as she realizes her Christmas Fate)

Dad: (He means business tone) AMY!! I am leaving Santa a letter and I am going to tell him not to leave you any toys!

Amy: (More Crying)

Dad:
Dear Santa,

Please do not leave Amy any toys this year she has been naughty and does not deserve any toys...."

US: Laughing, a lot...we look over at my sister Jen who just rolls her eyes, then gets up to go see what is going on...

2 min later:
Jen walks in with Amy in arms, (who has a smirk on her face..mind you she is 4 but is no dummy)

turns out her High School Musical PJ's were more
RED than PINK and she didn't want RED... (hence the screaming father)

So Poor Amy, doesn't like red pj's and will probably need a good shrink when she is older because she can't figure out why Christmas Eve brings pain!

we'll just have to make sure Amy gets pink pj's every blessed Christmas, maybe Allen should get pink too... besides that Santa couldn't possibly ignore that angelic face regardless of what her father says...
Aby'll back her up
